ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to enter the Southwestern Virginia Gas Public Awareness Survey Prize Drawing (hereinafter, “Prize Drawing”), you (i) must be a legal U.S. resident who is at least 18 years of age at the time of entering the Prize Drawing and you (ii) must have received an invitation from Southwestern Virginia Gas to complete a Southwestern Virginia Gas Public Awareness Survey. Only one entry per person is permitted. Employees, officers, directors and agents of Southwestern Virginia Gas and affiliated companies and their immediate families and those living in their households, are not eligible to participate in the Prize Drawing. Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

SPONSOR
Southwestern Virginia Gas located at 208 Lester Street, Martinsville, VA 24112 is the sponsor of the Prize Drawing (“Sponsor”).

TERM
The entry dates for the Prize Drawing correspond with an invitation to complete a Public Awareness Survey. Entries must be received by 12/12/2026 to be eligible for the drawing. The Prize Drawing will begin at 1:00 PM eastern standard time (EST) on 12/17/2026. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseeable disruption, the drawing will be postponed to the next reasonably available date as determined by the Sponsor. If selection of a winner is postponed, entries received after 12/12/2026 will still not be eligible for the drawing.

TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Prize Drawing is open to those eligible persons who receive an invitation from the Sponsor to complete the Public Awareness Survey during the Term. To enter, during the Term, eligible persons must complete a Public Awareness Survey and mail or deliver their entry to the Sponsor. Upon receipt of a properly completed survey, you will be entered.

LIMIT: ONE (1) ENTRY PER SURVEY INVITATION AND COMPLETED SURVEY. You may only complete one survey when invited to do so and you will not be entered into the Prize Drawing more than once, even if you submit multiple survey cards during the Term. Subsequent entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. Entries are void if they are incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error, or obtained through fraud or theft. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Drawing Rules.

WINNER
Prize: One (1) prize winner will be randomly selected for the Prize Drawing to receive a $500 Visa® gift card. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the prize: $500. All decisions on all matters pertaining to the Prize Drawing are final. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION
The Prize drawing will be conducted at the Southwestern Virginia Gas office located at 208 Lester Street, Martinsville, VA 24112. The prize winner will be notified by mail, phone, or in person, in Sponsor’s discretion, within thirty (30) days from the date of the winner selection. Prize winner will have fourteen (14) days from notification to claim their prize. Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, agents, officers and directors will not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a winner. The prize will be delivered in person or by U.S. First Class Mail, in Sponsor’s discretion. No prize transfer, assignment or substitution by winner permitted. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value should all or part of a prize become unavailable for any reason. All federal, state and local taxes, fees and surcharges on prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. If the prize winner declines the prize, fails to claim the prize, is unavailable for prize fulfillment, fails to abide by the Official Drawing Rules, or is ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries.

Where lawful, the winner may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and/or a Publicity Release. Failure to return the required documents within the time period specified thereon may result in forfeiture of prize and random selection of alternate winner from remaining eligible entries. Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the prize, winner consents to Sponsor’s use of his/her likeness, photograph, name, or voice for advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media worldwide (including winners list) without additional compensation or notification.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
(a) Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any or all of the Prize Drawings.
(b) By participating, entrants and winners release Sponsor, its affiliates, parent, and subsidiary companies, its employees, agents and officers, as well as all others associated with the development and execution of this Prize Drawing, from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from the Prize Drawing and the awarding and use of the prize. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to Prize Drawing entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. Sponsor reserves the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials or any materials related to the Prize Drawing.
(c) Participants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules; and (b) that the decisions of Sponsor are final on all matters relating to the Prize Drawing. Winner agrees to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding.
(d) Before being declared a winner, each selected entrant will be required to sign a confirmation and acceptance confirming compliance with the Prize Drawing Official Rules and acceptance of the prize as offered. The confirmation and acceptance must be returned within fourteen (14) business days of the notification date indicated on the documents, unless otherwise stated, or the selected entrant will be disqualified and the prize forfeited.

LAWS
This Prize Drawing is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to the conflicts of law provisions.
